This enchanting glass mosaic garden sculpture draws its inspiration from the lush, verdant landscapes of Shanklin Chine on the Isle of Wight. Crafted with a limited yet vibrant colour palette, it captures the fresh greens of spring foliage, bringing a sense of renewal and natural beauty to any garden setting.

The sculpture consists of three gracefully curved forms, each adorned with intricate mosaic patterns that play with texture and light. Each form features a circular motif at its top, resembling unfurling fern fronds. The use of reflective glass within the design adds a dynamic element, catching the sunlight and making the sculpture shimmer. The bodies of the forms are decorated to create a patchwork of textures and patterns. The arrangement of different shapes and sizes gives the sculpture a sense of depth and complexity, inviting viewers to explore its details up close.

This mosaic sculpture seamlessly integrates into the garden environment, bringing a touch of its serene atmosphere to your outdoor space all year round.

Trio Of Unfurling Ferns

  • The glass has been hand cut, the edges smoothed and then silicone glued onto a Perspex base. Once dried, I then grout using exterior grade grout, which really make the colours pop! All the materials I use are frost proof and weather resistant, so your piece is ready to display outside in your garden and can stay out all year round. Just be mindful, that in high winds, it is best placed somewhere sheltered.

As with any item made from glass, please be careful when handling. There may be sharp edges to some of the glass, so please keep out of reach of small children. You can clean the glass, if needed, using water and a little washing up liquid, with a sponge or soft cloth.
